IGN.com heeft een interview met DICE gepubliceerd waarin Marcus Nilsson, een senior producer bij DICE, verteld over de fouten in voorgaande Battlefield games en hoe ze deze hebben voorkomen in BF2142. We have learned many lessons, but the most important is simply: take care of the community!! This is something I think we can always get better with. The quality of our product is proportionate to the involvement we have with the community. If we don't listen, quality will suffer, so we need to make sure we are always keyed in. For example, we are introducing a 'DICE Live' team which is run by a producer and a community manager. Both are largely responsible for the quality of patches and fixes.

Laat ze eerst BF2 maar eens fatsoenlijk patchen en stoppen met die Boosterpacks. Eerder hebben ze geen recht op nog eens 50 Euro de man... vind ik. |

oke, kritiek baseren alleen op je mening is slecht, maar opbouwende kritiek is nooit slecht.. alleen wanneer mensen denken dat het inrelevant is =)
mijn mening over de service is ook matig...
ooit een patch gehad waarbij mn drivers verkloot werden en ik nieuwe drivers moest vervangen terwijl ik met cod2 nooit problemen heb....
heb ook een keer gehad dat door een patch mijn serial code onderhanden was genomen... moest ik tig forums af om het probleem te verhelpen...
en jah als je zulke fouten maakt waarbij je een raket afschiet van een hummer bijv. en de server crasht dan ... kom op zeg dan zijn er duizenden mensen die je spel spellen heb je nog geen paar dagen om zo'n bug uit een patch te halen en dan ook nog binnen een week een andere patch erover heen moeten gooien.
Nou zal ik niet meteen zeggen dat bf2 een kut spel is, en dat ik ik die lui bij ea na kan doen is ook niet het geval maar als je zoveel problemen hebt krijg ik geen hoge dunk van ea.

BF 2 is gewoon vet zoals ie is...behalve zoals iedereen zegt de bugs en crashes, ik merk ook de laatste tijd dat BF2 minder gespeeld wordt....
maar deze maand nieuwe patch en dan zien we wel misschien wordt het nog wat met bF2, 2142 ligt me zowiezo niet, en die 50 euro gun ik ze niet |

Waarom zou edje zijn mening niet mogen uiten? Er zitten namelijk ook goede dingen in bf2, waardoor je graag speelt, edje brengt alleen meestal de negatieve dingen naar voren...
Maar geef toe... de meeste patches tot nu toe zijn bagger slecht, en het duurt ook nog een veel te lang voor er een hotfix komt |

Idd, BF2 heeft niet de beste support wat er mogelijk is.
Patches zijn wat laat maar och, het spel is goed te spelen.
+ een glitch, vertel mij eens wel spel GEEN ENKELE glitch heeft,
zeker met zo' n grote maps en community is het wel vanzelfsprekend dat er glitches inzitten.
+ craches, ieder PC spel heeft het het is geen console.
maar kom op zo vaak cracht BF2 nou ook niet... (behalve de servers)
+ Teamkillen, DICE heeft hier al 4/6 minpunten voor gesteld, dit is een
goede oplossing
+ voor de rest ben ik het eens met voetschimmel
* battlefield wapens hebben niet genoeg recoil... het lijkt wel ene arcade game af en toe.. (leer van Ravenshield, dat was pas schieten)
*battlefield is slecht geprogrameerd. bijv. vergelijkbare gamens zijn met alles op low mooier als BF2 met alles op medium
- ik vind goed dat ze in de nieuwe bf meer aan squads doen
- betere support geloof ik alleen in als ze net als WoW maandbetaling
doen
- Ik koop geen BF 2142, belachelijk om weer ene nieuwe pc te kopen  |

wat jij zegt over punt 4, kan per ongeluk gebeuren, maar volgens mij, als je wordt geteamkilled voor je kit, dan is dat niet per ongeluk....
of mensen voor je plane gaan staan,heli,apc, tank en mensen(noobs) die express voor je auto gaan lopen, zodat ze kunnen punishen....of mensen die voor mij lopen terwijl ik schiet(express, want daarna punishe ze). btw, dit gebeurt niet op gamert servers 
noobs heb je wel bij elk spel, alleen op bf2 is het gewoon erger.
bijna op elke server heb je er 1 :P

Idd er zullen minder mensen gaan spelen, maar hierdoor zal er:
- betere support zijn (EA heeft meer geld om uit te geven aan nieuw personeel)
bijkomend pluspunt:
+ minder noobs, omdat mensen die maar voor 1 xtje willen spelen geen 10 euro per maand betalen ...
+ alleen liefhebbers voor de game overblijven, minder tk's en beter teamverband.
helaas zullen die mensen die voor vliegtuigen staan enz. zoals edje hierboven vermelde altijd blijven bestaan
en kijk naar WoW heeft dit spel weinig spelers?... het heeft gewoon vaste spelers waardoor de sfeer beter word
Dit alles is mijn mening en wijst op logica, nergens is dit feitelijk bewezen ;) |
