Om het nieuwe weekend in te luiden hebben de heren bij Punkbuster alle BF2 gamers verrast met een nieuwe serie punkbuster kicks. Rond 0:45 begonnen alle BF2 servers spontaan spelers te kicken. Een herstart van de gameserver zou de fout moeten oplossen. |

Project Reality... daar hadden we bij Battlefield2.nl al lang geen update meer van gekregen en daar waren ze bij Project Reality zelf uiteraard ook al van op de hoogte en daarom bieden ze ook hun excuses aan op de frontpage. Het blijft echter niet bij een excuus, men laat namelijk ook wat werk zien dat af is en wat werk dat nog in ontwikkeling is. Het afgeronde project, de Warrior IFV:

Na erg erg lang niets op de voorpagina van Desert Conflict gezien te hebben,
is nu dan toch eindelijk een duidelijk signaal van leven te bekennen, een nieuwe website!
Op deze website belooft Desert Conflict maarliefst elke dag een update te plaatsen.
Wij zullen deze site goed in de gaten houden en belangrijke updates uiteraard op onze
frontpage plaatsen. Desert Conflict is een van de mods waar wij bij Battlefield2.nl erg hoge verwachtingen
van hebben. Hun models, ookal zijn het er nog maar weinig, behoren tot de top van alle

Na een downtime van 2 dagen zijn we weer bereikbaar.
De downtime werd veroorzaakt door een verhuizing van de DNS server, die iets langer duurde dan gepland..:(
Hoewel de downtime ons niet aan te rekenen is willen we bij deze toch maar even onze excuses aanbieden voor het ongemak! |

Op de officiele Battlefield 2 site wordt de volgende melding gemaakt.
Er komt een heus wereldkampioenschap voor Battlefield 2 aan!

Het is weer vrijdag en dus weer tijd voor de wekelijkse update van Point of Existence.
De mensen van Point of Existence hebben deze week drie nieuwe models voor ons in petto waarvan er 1 ingame te bewonderen is.
Het gaat om de Su-24M Fencer, AH-6 Little Bird en de SA-7 portable anti-air missile. Our first thing to show today is the“Su-24M Fencer”.
The Su-24M is a front line bomber designed to penetrate hostile POE:2 territoryand destroy ground and surface targets. This will definitely be a bombers delight!
Some things that were in our original version of Point of Existence were developed in preparation for Battlefield:2. From time to time we will post in-game screenshots of equipment that has been ported over. This week we would like to showcase “the Little Bird”.
What’s better than showcasing aircraft?The first thing that comes to our mind is something to shoot them down with.“AgentX” debuts his first fully developed weapon with theSA-7 portable anti-air missile. SA -7 SU - 24 "Fencer"

| Forgotten Hope 2 |

Vandaag is het in MOD land weer tijd voor een kleine update van Forgotten Hope 2.
In de update die ze vandaag voor ons in petto hadden laten showen ze "civilian home furnishings" en nog een keer de vorige week getoonde Panzer III. Hello, and welcome to another Forgotten Hope news update. Some updates are about big maps and big vehicles, but this update is about getting up close and personal. Before we get any closer, I am pleased to announce a new addition to our team. Citizen Soldier will be helping make FH2 sound as good as it looks. Lets give him a warm welcome!
The first item today is collection of civilian home furnishings by Malsa. These will be found in civilian dwellings throughout the North African Theater in Forgotten Hope 2.

Het is weer tijd voor de wekelijkse update van de veel belovende mod Point of Existence.
In deze update komen o.a. voorbij: Mig-25, Lenin en worden er wederom models en maps geshowed.
Originally designed to be a Mach 2.8 Interceptor for countering air targets in all weather conditions, by day and by night and in dense hostile electronic warfare environments the next aircraft that we would like to introduce is the Mig-25
flying with Ukraine markings. As soon as “Nello” was invited to our team last week he went right to the drawing board and created a statue of Lenin for use in our maps.
Also today we have serveral ingame shots to present, a few first person shots of weapons and maps that are going to be in PoE2. Lenin Mig - 25

| Men of Courage |

Na een poosje niks van ze gehoord te hebben zijn de makers van de Nederlandse mod Men of Courage ook weer terug aan het front verschenen met een nieuwe update. Hier in worden oa. de AWM sniper rifle en hun nieuwste map Tivat geshowed.

Our lead mapper Eddie also finished our second map, we present you Tivat, a harbour city on the Montenegro coastline, check out the screenshots below.
